The Walt Disney Co. is shutting down most of its ESPN Zone stores, a chain of sports-themed restaurants located in seven cities, according to a person familiar with the matter. The only outlets to remain open are those tied to a Disney property, such as the Downtown Disney shopping district in Anaheim.

Good!
I have been a member for years. food is always so-so and expensive. games are always mostly broken. gift shop sells typical asian junk. I'd really rather go to Lagasse Stadium.

No skin off my nose. Only been there once,DTD in 05,noisy and 'expensive'.
I figured it would be 'pricey',but come on,$10.50 for a small pitcher of beer.

I'm having trouble visualizing you with a small pitcher of beer.

I'm sure Cali is like Az. If it's only one person drinking,,,,small pitcher. Two or more,,,,large pichers all around.
Did I mention I had 2 pitchers?

This news doesn't really affect me either.

So that would mean they would only have an ESPN Zone at DL since WDW only has a cafe of sorts located at the Boardwalk Resort...
The food was alright but everything was expensive (though lunch discount made it somewhat alright)

Doesn't really affect me either. We've only been to the one in Baltimore and that was years ago. Unfortunately, I think many people stay at home and play games rather than going out. And I can go to my local Champps if I want to see 15 plasmas showing every conceivable sporting event imaginable.

Don't look at me, I've never been a "sports bar" kind of person to begin with, so I'm apathetic regarding this news. Of course, I hope the workers are able to find new employment in short order.
