Ok, before I get to the video I have to ask. We all go to theme parks. We stand in lines to board rides, trams, even buses that takes us around the property. and every where we wait in line there is a rope, rail, or gate of some kind to keep us back away from the vehicle.

Why the heck have cities failed to do this with subway platforms?

I once read an article about a computer program designed to identify potential suicide risks on train platforms by their lingering time and movement pasterns. It could be something like that.
