Lynn Redgrave Will Not Be Down For Breakfast

Lynn Redgrave, an introspective and independent player in her family's acting dynasty who became a 1960s sensation as the freethinking title character of "Georgy Girl" and later dramatized her troubled past in such one-woman stage performances as "Shakespeare for My Father" and "Nightingale," has died. She was 67.

Wow - too young. I hadn't seen that on the news. Cancer?

I read a short story on msnbc, and she had been battling cancer for about 7 years.

Yes, breast cancer. Of the two, Lynn and Vanessa, I always found her to be the nicer person. And yes, 67 is far too young. :(
