I have to admit I've been on the other side of that. Way back when I worked at a Church's Chicken, and we came out with our own chicken nuggets about a year after McDonalds. If things were slow, we'd occasionally mess with customers who tried to order "McNuggets."darph nader wrote:Amazing they didn't call the Policia on them.
Jump in your Way-Back machine. I've got a 3 alarm hangover, pull into Jack in the Box and order a Egg McMuffin. The guy on the mike asks "What"? Ok,just give me a Breakfast Jack. (asshole,I'm on my way to work, don't F with me)
That is a close call. The man showed a lack of intelligence as well as an overabundance of ego, while the cashier had an extraordinary failure to use common sense, as not only did he not let the customer know that they did not have the requested item, but they substituted another item for the requested one without informing the customer beforehand. Together, they managed a rather large amount of fail that the manager had to deal with.empire550 wrote:I was at a Taco Bell for lunch one day and a family walked in and a guy just ordered a large fry. The cashier just rang up tacos instead of telling him since he made a big deal to his wife that he knows what he wants and doesn't need the menu. When he got his order he went off. The manager came out and was being yelled at for about 20 minutes, he threw the food and walked out. Wish I taped it.
Not sure who was really the more stupid one the guy or cashier.
