A Monster Among Us

One of my daughter's HS classes is Aquaculture/Agriculture. One of the highlights in the class is taking care of a baby Axis deer named Flower. The deer is so tame and trusting she will climb into my daughter’s lap for a nap.

Last night, a male, who was caught on video surveillance, jumped a fence and beat the baby deer terribly. The injuries include broken teeth, cuts to face and chest, bruises; the list goes on and on. My daughter is heartbroken.

What kind of person could do something like this to a defenseless baby deer locked up in a pen? No other animals were harmed and nothing was stolen so the baby deer was the focus of this attack. Whoever did this is not a human being. He may appear in human form but is, in fact, a monster.

I hope the police bring this monster among us to justice quickly. One can only imagine what other attacks this sick sub human is contemplating.

I'll donate whatever it takes to cover the vet bills.

Monster? More like a worthless POS. I'm sure if he's caught,he'll say he was high on___________,and use that for his defense. What a total ass-hole.

never hide something, they can find it!

now a boat with a couple of chum buckets and an area where sharks hang out....

I remember reading articles about when they first started to really profile mass murderers...

one of the strange traits they discovered is that almost all of them had tourtured or killed small animals in their youth.

What scum. To beat a poor defenseless animal just for kicks is just sick.
I hope the deer makes it.

This is heartbreaking. Just killed me to read. Poor innocent Flower. I simply can't comprehend the horror Flower lived through. hobie, plz keep us posted on little Flower & your daughter. We care! If you need donations for the vet bill let me know. I'd rather give to animals than any other cause. God Bless Flower.
