Yet ANOTHER Disney Bus Accident (Saturday)

Thank goodness it doesn't look too bad:

I used the opportunity to link to my story on the previous crash with a little snark at the blame-throwing parents in the Fort Wilderness incident.

Apparently the parents didn't take the advice in your siggy. :D:

She says the neighbor kid with the boy who was killed told her that the boy never went into the road? Sounds like the one doing the cover-up is the neighbor kid; trying to avoid getting a guilt trip laid on him by the boy's mother. I've seen something like that happen.

I read it that way too. Perhaps some friendly horseplay that went awry?

Such a tragedy.

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

This is terrible. From what I've heard, only 2 things cause accidents, human error or mechanical failure. :(

That's why you take the puppy for a walk 'before' letting him play on the computer.

HEY!!! How about a warning before posting pics like that. My dog is very impressionable.

I've watched the news coverage ad nauseum (impossible to avoid in Orlando), and it sounds more like she was pressured or convinced to change her story. In the early reports, she told the police she only heard the accident but did not see it. I think she was supposed to be riding ahead of him. Then suddenly Mommy is ranting about how she said she DID see it and of course the big, evil bus came up on the sidewalk....and I presume neighbor girl is now going along with that story. But it definitely wasn't her original tale.

I feel so terrible for that little boy, but the parents make me sick...let's drag the bus driver through the mud on TV every five minutes because he surely doesn't feel bad enough already even tho' there's no way in hell he could have avoided the accident. The kid hit the bus. Accept it and move on!
