Places you never want to work at again. . .

Post by coldfire409 » Mon May 10, 2004 12:36 pm

I was wondering if anybody here has a location that they absolutely never want to work at again. Mine is Rock n Rollercoaster. Last year when the Movie Ride went down for rehab the managment gave everybody a prefrence sheet on where they wanted to go work durring the rehab. On my sheet I said that I wanted to go to either backlot shuttles, or the animation tour. Well needless to say they didn't follow those sheets at all. I got sent to coaster. I went into it open minded and for a short time it wasn't that bad, but from what I was told seven weeks later I would go back to the Movie Ride. Little did I know 7 weeks was actually 16 weeks. All of that I was stuck at coaster. Well, after that every now and then I get stuck at coaster, and it's gotten to the point that I do things wrongly over there because I never got recertified. The people that I worked with there are all very nice people and I have never had a problem with the other CMs there, but managment is another story. Mostly all the managers care about is the OHRC, and hitting those numbers. Many times it's tough because of the guests actions making it tough to load them the way they want it and the way that is the most efficent. Now I attempt to give away my shifts there, but somebody has erased it from the board, so I called in because it had to be somebody from over there. I just can't wait until I lose my certification at that attraction

If I ever worked at the park again, I wouldn't want to get stuck on Book again. Bleh!~!!!!! Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it. Can also live without Fantasmic and the version of Pirates with 4 queues - you newbies have lucked out. Not crazy about the routes in Fantasyland either, but at least you get to rotate all over the place and see everyone in the bargain.

My worst is PAC for nighttime parades; especially on nights with two parades.

I have a touch of ochlophobia, which makes it nearly impossible for me to do 2-way traffic control without creating my own personal code V incident. Last shift I just bolted for backstage and waited for the fireworks to end.

Both kinds of fireworks.

Last time I worked PAC at the Hub there were so many fights it took four Alpha units (and two deputy sheriffs) to clear the street!

HEY! Strollers is my home!!

actually I can see how someone would never want to work there, especially if you hired within the last two years.

Actually, I worked there about, uh, over 10 years ago now.

Wow, that's scary.

And I just hated strollers - I know some people liked it, but I never did.

Candy Hell was just bad...always bad...but particularly post-parades. I never did have to work there on a Grad Night, thankfully.

Is that the new nickname for the Emporium? When I was a newbie we used to call it the Big House.
