That's cool, can't wait to see it!

Although, this seems to solidify the term "buses on beams".

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

I have nothing against Tron. I'm tired of them messing with the look of the Monorails. It's like a moving billboard. I'd rather see them bring back the "pixie vomit" from year of a million dreams.

The two trains will be designated as "Epcot Only" but they will still be on the express beam twice per day when they bring them to/from shop...and it could even be mid-day if there's a malfunction of some sort. Imagine how that will look going around Seven Seas Lagoon...through the Contemporary, past the Wedding Pavilion...in front of the Main Street train station...etc. Not to mention it will be completely visible from World Showcase.

Monorail Coral is the 1st train up to get the paint overhaul. I mean it needed a new paint job, but this isn't what I had in mind. I hope that it's still referred to Coral instead of something like "TRON 1" or "TRON 2".

That's all for now.

I agree in part. The Pixie Puke looked horrible from a distance. It could only be appreciated by those fairly close to the train, as in on the platform.

Is the classic plain white look, with the distinctive color stripe really so bad ?

At least they are minimizing the chance for them being exposed on the MK loops.

Nope, if you ask me that's how it should be all the time. As was said on a different site, the Monorails shouldn't be bus-wrapped.

Tough call. While I can understand not wanting to mess with a "classic look", I can also understand the desire to "mix things up a bit". I don't think the trains look bad with the "Tron" make-over, though pictures aren't the same as seeing it in person. The "light cycle" motif is alright, but I would have preferred maybe an original design to make it look like what a "monorail simulation program" would look like. Heck, since we are dealing with a vehicle riding a beam here, they could have gone with the "solar sailer" as well.

All of the haters on the net about this had just be ready for TRON to take over the parks. Cause once this movie hits theaters and is a hit, they'll bring on the other two movies they've got lined up (With the wait and see the reaction to Legacy first). Disney is banking on this film. A lot.

And honestly. The monorails are the perfect fit for this. The cycles and monorails are both fast. This overlay will look perfect flying down the roadway. Going through EPCOT Center? Prefect way to do advertising for it.
