"Disney Parks fans rejoice! On Wednesday at The Walt Disney Company's Annual Meeting, a new Annual Passport valid for admission to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks was introduced — Disney Premier Passport!


The Disney Premier Passport is a brand-new Annual Passport valid for admission to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks.
Guests who currently hold both a Disneyland and a Walt Disney World Annual Pass will be able to upgrade their passes to the new Disney Premier Passport, and the expiration date will be based on the latter of the two annual passes. Annual Passholders who currently have a pass to one Disney Resort may upgrade their current pass to a Premier Passport (the passholder will be credited the difference based on the retail value of their current Annual Pass)."


I never thought I'd see the day!

For now, I will probably be sticking with my Disneyland annual pass until I know for sure if I will be able to visit Florida sometime in the future.

What's the price tag going to be on that bad boy? Of course you have to add the cost of travel,lodging and food. (being broke sucks :( )

$700, plus tax on the Florida portion, for a total of $722.75. Naturally, that's excluding food, transportation, lodging, etc., but those can't be that expensive, right? ;)

I don't see the need for this. I mean who really goes to BOTH resorts enough in one year to make this worth while?

An Annual pass to one park or the other makes sense (especially if you live close enough to make use of it). But the only way this pass would make sense is if you lived in the middle of the US, and then unless you were rich enough to travel MANY MANY times a year, it would not be worth it.

I grew up in Orlando for 18 years, had family retire from WDW, we went 100's of times. and yet I have NEVER been to DL.

I just don't see the need or call for this kind of pass.

However. if there are a few people out there that would be able to make use of this pass, then instead of offering 3 differetn kinds of passes. (DL, WDW, Combo), then why not just make ALL AP's work for ALL parks. Then someone that has a AP and travels to Paris, or Hong Kong, could use it to visit those parks. Or at least the AP could be labeled for the persons "local" park (ie: WDW) and give a discount on admission to the others.

OK,burb gets 20mpg,that's 300 gals (round-trip) $3-3.50/gal,round that off to $1,000.00. Lodging,let's say 6 nites/$60.00= $360.00. Food $8.00/meal,6meals/day= abt $300.00. Beer $2800.00,and this doesn't include sleeps and eats at the park. So let's add this up

Gas $1,000.00
Food $300.00
Sleeps $360.00 +Beer.
It figures out to (8+,carry the 7 minus 2,divide by 4/5ths =) HOLY SHIT

I see it only being bought by people that already live near WDW or DL, and make it out to the opposite park at least once a year. I mean, over the premium WDW AP I think it's only $200 more? $200 for a DL AP is not a bad price.

And at the stockholder's meeting one person asked about an "All Parks" AP. The response was the logistics would be extremely difficult and they really would not sell many during a year.

But I want my Gold Pass so I can do my RTW with only one airline ticket and only one Disney ticket.

I see DPP as Fantastic for all! Seems a win win. Many AP guests are not from either Ca. or Fl. Many AP cards I scan are from Europe & South America. APs are from all over the world so this will be a great incentive. All D23 I've spoken with are excited abt DPP. Disney's in park profit will soar, & this is a good thing.

Yeah, that's true.
Many APs are not locals.

Hey I'm from the Vancouver area and I buy an AP when I come out to WDW. I usually manage to get two trips out of it, sometime three.
