Key To Good Chipmonk Voices

today I learned for a good chipmonk voice you need to raise the soundtrack 1 octave first, then synth it normally.
also, I can hear the difference of the old electric parade soundtracks and the new ones. the older ones done with the old Moog synths have a fuller sounding voice then the new all digital tracks. as carefull as disney is for quality I wonder why they let this go. or maybe they need to rerecord the tracks over in digital to get a good clean copy and the original voices are no longer around.
