Ummm, okay, I'm on Facebook now after massive pressure from friends to join. Anyone else over there? Are you finding it good for anything? I think this is the URL to my public profile:

http://www.facebook.com/people/Barb-Nef ... 0806585384

Am still trying to figure out it. Doesn't seem much different than a web page or a blog to me, but what do I know.

This is a better link to your profile. You have a friend request.

It not that different from a web page. But it seems to be more accessible to the non computer literate.

We used it to organize a 20th anniversary reunion of the Canadian production of Phantom of the Opera last year. It proved a great way to connect with a very diverse and geographically widespread group of "gypsies". It has also allowed me to reconnect with high school friends whom I had been out of touch with since the mid 80s. Now we share photos of our kids online.

However it can also be an enormous time sink, and very addictive. Some people share WAY to much personal info on FB.

I'm sure you will find it interesting from a strictly clinical point of view !

Thanks for the better link and thanks all for the friendship requests.
Next Disney cruise is on March 6...woo hoo! Now I can post updates to my Facebook page (or maybe not as that darned internet onboard gets rather pricey).
