In regards to the reversing procedures, no. It is not a stupid management trick. Yes, it is inconvenient, but only inside the Contemporary, because for a spotter we have to get another train in place just outside the Contemporary.

The first couple days, it was a much longer process.

If your driver talks to you as they should, it shouldn't feel nearly as inconvenient. Yes, we do overshoot our stops from time to time. I've done it twice since the new rules have been in effect.

Unfortunately, I can't badmouth the policy for one simple reason: I do believe in it. Not referring to July, I have seen things happen that make me believe it is, in fact, a good idea. No, I will not say any more. Sorry.

That said, we do need to figure out ways to speed up the process. It will come. If you ride aboard a Monorail that overshoots its stop, understand that right now we are in a transition phase. We will make it faster. Eventually. As soon as we can safely do so.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Glad to hear that the new rules are both not overly annoying and that you have reason to back them, Big Wallaby. Nice to get the view from someone with first-hand experience.

Is it true that guests can't ride in the cockpit anymore because of the crash?

No... Guests can not ride in the cockpit anymore because it was determined that their could be an increased distraction to the driver.... esp. if they got on at the Poly and had a Dole Whip with them.....
