Stupid Guest Tricks

I think I have my next trip nailed down to the weekend of Feb 6th/7th.

I use the wishes soundtrack to help get my 2 year old to bed. She sings along with the music at bedtime, but this will be her first time watching the fireworks. I was wondering what you guys thought the best viewing area to watch is.

She'll have her new cast by then, so we will be loading up the sharpies for the characters that can/will be able to sign.

We've always had success on the bridge from the Hub to Tomorrowland. There's at least one concrete bench on the side of the bridge closest to the castle and a little nook where you might be able to stand.

Of course, Main Street USA is the classic place to watch, but it is ALWAYS packed here, seemingly no matter what time of year you happen to go.

If you like ashes falling on you and twisting your neck back and forth, go for fantasyland. Some people supposedly actually want to see the fireworks, I recommend to them to go to the top of the contemporary or find a way onto a boat.

Inside the park: The bridge between the Ice Cream Parlor and the Castle, about the best view you can get and you can see Tinkerbell fly down from the Castle. Get there early though as that area fills up quick.

Outside the park: The beach at the Polynesian. They pipe the music over there and there is an excellent view. You can't see Tinkerbell there.

I can second the bridge to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland. You cant see the picture the same as from main street, but the thrill of having Tinkerbell fly right over your heads more than makes up for it.

Watching from Fantasyland just outside the fallout zone was fun too, but you get dizzy from looking straight up and constantly going in circles ! and you dont see the castle lighting effects nearly as well.

The bridge is where I think I'll try and stake out.

I've watched them from the Carousel/Philharmagic area (but got Tennis neck from going back and forth).

And I've done the 'too close to the castle' block before.

Hopefully it won't be too busy.

On the Hub end of the Tomorrowland bridge there's a Mickey & Minnie topiary by the entrance to the rose garden. I always find that area offers excellent viewing.
