This is from a new episode that was on tonight;

I have to say I do feel sorry for this poor woman. I know that similar things have happened on this show before, but this one is just brutal.
This is not the only captured footage of it. Amazingly, the first upload was made minutes after it actually aired. All I can say is, welcome to the wonders of social media.

It took a while, but I'm used to the timer now. They get more time the higher up the money ladder they go.
Also, if the contestant makes it to the million dollar question, they get to use all of the unused time that they accumulated from the other questions.
And most recently, they got rid of the Phone-a-Friend lifeline.
Technology has caught up with the show, and since many people who are called will use the Internet, they reasoned that it is unfair since not all people have Internet access.
Because of this change, contestants now have immediate access to the Ask the Expert lifeline instead of having to earn it. (Its another new lifeline that premiered the same time as the timer did.)
