AP is reporting that he was admitted to a hospital in Hawaii with chest pains. Hopefully he is all right with no complications.

With our luck he'll be back on the air and blasting anything/everything in no time.

We can only hope. In the mean time, Dr. Walter Williams will be on today. He is FANTASTIC. His regular job is a professor at George Mason University as an Economics prof (in fact, I think he is the head of the econ department there). And he's really funny and informative. Not as funny as Mark Stein that also fills in. If Rush is out some next week, I hope they book more of Mark Stein - he's a hoot.

I've never much liked Walter Williams. Nice enough guy and very smart, I just have trouble listening to him on the radio. But agreed, Mark Steyn is a lot of fun to listen too, sharp and funny.

One of the things that I like about Dr. Williams, is that he usually has Thomas Sowell on as a guest for a segment or 2, and they always have something insightful to say about economics.

Did you know that Mark Steyn has a mini Christmas Album out called "Gingerbread and Eggnog". It's hilarious. You can preview it on Amazon.
