Recent Porn Spam

A number of you may have received a PM from a new member that contained a graphic image and links to porn web sites. Know that they have been banned with extreme prejudice.
We regret that this sort of thing happens, but without moderating every new member, it will occasionally occur. We will take prompt and decisive action when it does, and you can help by reporting such posts or IMs to us immediately.
Thanks for your understanding and support, and again our apologies that the occasional SG gets access here.

I blame ktulu for the PM I got.
Is there an option to block pictures and links in PMs until a user has at least a post or two?

If you want to provide any information, such as an IP, I would be interested in finding out a bit more about the source of the spam :)

I got the same PM from this yahoo and reported it PDQ. :twisted: I know this isn't meant to be a 'family friendly' site,but this was total BS. :mad: Has to be the shortest membership in SGT history.

For some reason I can't access the home page -- I get a security error. Is that related to this? (Honest, Polar & Zazu, it wasn't me that sent the porn.)

There's a PMin my account that when I saw the subject line, XXXVIDEOS, I didn't open it. Can you get rid of it for me? I don't want to have to see that crap if I click on it. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I can click on New Posts and get in fine.

Thanks for getting rid of the a-holes, guys. I didn't get the PM and I think I'm glad. If I had I would have reported it to y'all right away. To bad we have to tighten up our registration system and can't be more open. The idiots on the 'net make it tougher for everybody else.
