I was steamrolled by SG's during Fan guest control

Post by Hawkeye Jennie » Thu Oct 29, 2009 1:13 pm

Yup, that's right. I was yelling the usual mantra of 'WALKWAY ONLY, THIS IS NOT A VIEWING AREA' etc when a rowdy group of guests ran into me full-tilt in the dark. Was it intentional or not? I dunno, you tell me. One would think that the 'baby lightsabers' are hard to miss. I was on the stairs by Mansion and the impact shoved me right off the edge of a step. Went down pretty hard but immediately sprang back up in a righteous fury, mwahaha. The guests in question, however, had already vanished into the crowd. Never got a good look at them. Did any of the other guests express concern? Nope, they just kept rolling on past me with wall-eyed indifference.

Anyway my leg was pretty painful but I figured it was just bruising. I stuck out the rest of the shift and - while standing around under the pirates bridge waiting to clock out - I realized that my sock cuff felt strangely moist. I pulled my pants leg up to see a big ol' bleeding roadburn down the front of my calf. JOY. There was a sizeable portion of grit ground into it. MORE JOY.

CFA cleaned me up and wrapped my leg so all's well that ends well. Had to get a tetanus shot too. They said it'll probably scar....yep, a scar from doing guest control. I'm sure I'm not the only one...maybe I'll come across more castmembers with similarly earned scars and we'll drunkenly compare them over whiskey like the three guys in Jaws. :D:

When I went to MNSOHP, some guest was bombed on his shirt by low flying ducks.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Can't you be arrested for that if done in public?
