I find this commercial to be amazing. KFC could never get away with saying this stuff today!

That eleven herbs and spices is fake. Someone actually analyzed the coating mix in KFC's chicken, and all it was was salt, pepper, MSG and flour. Supposedly they had half the ingredients mixed in one secret location, the other half mixed in another secret location, and then the two halves of the coating mix would be sent to a third secret location where they would be blended before being sent to the stores to coat the chicken pieces before frying.

I'll bet those kids in the commercial are in their mid-to-late 30s and are having health issues from doing take after take for that commercial. And kids today would not be shown playing Indians--or Native Americans, or First Nation People, etc.. today. Probably be playing soccer or something.

Well for one thing, promoting the whole idea that people are eating fast food more that just "once in a while" plus, the very idea that kids who eat KFC are "eating well".

KFC may taste good, but it is definitely not something that kids should eat more than once in a while.

Times have changed, that's all.

Hey, back then it was even cool to admit that it was fried. No more Kentucky Fried Chicken now, just "KFC."

Hehheh. Yeah.

I think that part of the reason why they started doing grilled chicken was so they could compete with El Pollo Loco here on the west coast, and perhaps to have a healthier image.

And with that, they should change the chicken to broccoli. Then they could be the... never mind, I won't finish that thought.
