Stupid Guest Tricks

so we are renting this place and we are literally stuck in the middle of a "Hatfields & McCoy" family feud. Our landlord lives on one side of us, and their relatives live on the other side of us. and they fight ALL THE TIME! So I had enough and turned in our 30 day notice. we found a great place to move to. 3 bed 2 bath 2 story shaded red brick and only $50/month more then we pay now.

We went to go see the place last Friday, we could look in the windows but now get inside. but we still fell in love with the place. So we called the owner and said "we'll take it" he said he could come by Tues evening at 8:00pm (yesterday) and let us look inside and have us sign the lease and us pay deposit and all. So Tues is here and we get up, make calls to schedule utilities and all. This A-hole calls us at 1:30 and tells us he rented the house over the weekend. :mad:

Our 30 day notice is up THIS Saturday. we have 3 days and have to start the house hunt all over again.

What the hell is with people? I told him "thanks a lot for screwing us over."

Must be a major case of CRS. Hope you told him "I'll be right over for our deposit".

This is small comfort, but bet he would suck as a landlord. Maybe you are lucky you found out now (Get that Deposit back!) :mad:

Sorry. Been there, totally understand what you're going through. Imagine being nine months pregnant and having a door slammed in your face (and belly) by the landlord @$$hole son!!!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. You may not want to, but what hubby and I did was put almost all our stuff in storage and take a month to month lease at an apartment complex.

We had not given a deposit because the guy lives an hour away and said he could not make it to the house to show us around and get deposit till Tues. (LIAR) then he goes Sunday and rents the place.



We found a place today it's just a small apartment but it's still a roof and walls so.

Oh man, that's rotten! :mad: Hope you can find a better place soon.
