Disgusting the way he chose someone to victimize who was onstage and therefore unlikely to do that-we have all met people who maybe aren't physical, but subject someone on the job to verbal abuse, knowing they'll likely get away with it.

Thank goodness, we were chatting briefly about it today! I sometimes just don't get it. I tend to think that guests do these things because they know they can get away with it. I really wish more guests would get what is coming to them when they harm or bother cast members.

Unless its Prince Charming from Snow White. I doubt he could beat anyone up. ;)

I was thrilled this jerk was found guilty but did anyone here the comment from the judge? I was disgusted with the judge. He stated he didn't feel there was anything "sexual" in the groping as the old man couldn't know if the person in costume was male or female. In my mind it doesn't matter if the victim is female or male, no one should have to submit to being manhandled. Thank godness for an intelligent jury.

Now I'm not a lawyer (I leave that up to Wombat), but I would think that since Minnie is a "girl" character, that the assumption would be that the person inside was a girl and therefore his act was perpatrated on that basis making it "sexual".
