Dang, Disney sure kept the fire yesterday at Epcot quiet! It's on Board X, but nowhere at all in the news. There is of course video on YouTube. Here's the thread with video link:

I didn't hear a thing about this at work today. Not even a whisper through the grapevine.

Yeah, I was amazed that NONE of the news outlets picked it up. I wouldn't even believe it was true if it weren't for the video. The Slantinel and the news stations would normally be all over it.

Welcome the the government of Disney. :D:
When Disney can come into Florida and want to build covering 2 counties and the state says "um..." and Disney says "DO IT!" and the state says "Ok!" then you know who controls the state.

Guys. Read the threads. The fire was in 2002 at 3 am and it was a smoke fire. It was in the papers. I remember the fire, it was at the FLP power station backstage which provided power distribution to Future World.

The exif data from the photos the OP on the thread that Syndrome mentioned says Original Date/Time = 2009:06:24 20:58:29. I know that can be changed, so there is still some skepticism.

The fire in the video appears to be happening when it is light out, and there appear to be guests all around who are being directed to CMs. That's what makes me believe the time stamp. Definitely not 3 a.m. in an empty park. The pictures are after dark so I would be more skeptical of those unless the incident continued on for a long enough time to get dark.
