Really? They might be sparing families the wrath of economically ravaged Spaniards, but the poor employees, eh?

I suspect that this promotion will fizzle out quickly, right about the time the owner realises that all his employees have gone to work for the competition.

I once saw a feature in a MAD magazine wannabe, I think it was Cracked, and it featured a drawing of "Get it out of your System Land". It featured attractions such as "Dump Mom in a Vat of her Homemade Chicken Soup--Matzo Balls Extra', "Cuss Out a Cop',and there was a tent where pictures hung of people who get the most heat from those under them--I think "Boss" was a devil, "Teacher' was a witch, etc.; below the pictures was a microphone and a coin slot. You paid your money before yelling at the picture of your choice. People were shown going in all stressed out, and coming out relaxed and happy.

That bar owner should've done something like that, instead of subjecting his employees to verbal abuse. It's sad what some people will do to make a buck--or in this case, a euro.

It seems like encouraging violent or aggressive thoughts in a group of people who will be partaking of possibly inebriating levels of alcohol would be an incredibly unwise thing to do. But hey, he's got to pay the repair bills and the employees. If he's okay with paying for what gets broken, and paying the staff hazard pay for the BS they will have to endure, then he can just have at it.

As long as I get to insult them right back...
