Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I figured this was coming ever since I saw the meager settlement they made to that poor teen whose feet got cut off at their Kentucky park. The accident was totally Six Flags' fault; I don't remember the amount, but it was tiny considering that she is permanently disabled and must have some deep emotional scares. I'm guessing her lawyer said "Take what you can get now because if you wait and they file, you're not going to get zip."

Know what I'm waiting for? A topic that says, "Knott's Berry Farm will not be down for breakfast." If you read the number of accidents on Ghostrider that they've had, over on http://www.Themeparkinsider.com, http://www.rideaccidents.com, and http://www.amusementsafety.org, Ghostrider has caused more injuries to guests than any other ride in the park. One lady got her neck broken at the first drop, and the park tried to tell her she shouldn't have come into the park with a broken neck! They actually had the nads to say she was faking getting hurt on Ghostrider and was already injured before she got on! She was very lucky she wasn't paralyzed. You'll find that on Themeparkinsider.

Man in restricted area struck by roller coaster
(Saturday, August 30, 2008) - A 20-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition after he entered a restricted area underneath a roller coaster and was struck by the ride. The accident happened at Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, California. Witnesses said that the man lost his hat while he was riding the Ninja roller coaster, then climbed over two security fences to retrieve it.
Hell with my damn life, I wants my 12.00 hat back!

After reading on several other sites about the declining attendence at Six Flages, its not surprising.
I wonder if they will be bought out by some company?
I understand that AIG is looking for something to invest in!

I have seen this comming for a long time... It was going to happen to the Paramount Parks befor it was sold to Cedar Fair... knowing what I know about what Paramount did to its parks division, I feel that CF may eventually start dumping properties soon.

Well, I guess "more flags" did not mean "more fun" after all.
