Stupid Guest Tricks

Ok... I did it.. was an SG today.... I feel dumb.. please start flogging me as soon as you read.. I demand that I be punished....


With this being said... My wife and I went to universal Studios today.... we walked around the park.. doing the usual rides...


We get to Jaws and I remember that their was an SGT'er named Skipper Gordan. I asked the dock hand if I could ride with Skipper Gordan ( not knowning it was a scripted Char. ) they looked at me and said he just left the dock.. I said ok.. ill go on the next boat....


The wife and I got off and decided to do it again. This time we got back around to the front of the line again and told the hostests ( I think her name was Hillary ) that I would like to wait till Skipper Gordan got back from his cruise and I want to sit in the front row.... she looked at me and said.. "You do know that "he" is not real... its just a fictitional char."

This is when I felt dumb... So to "recover" what dignity I had left.. I said "Oh really" I was told by a good friend that he is the best skipper their and I needed to wait for him"

I feel dumb.... But it did feel kind fun to fell like a person we make fun of...

Of course, in hindsight maybe the best response would have been, "What?!? Next you'll be telling me that the shark isn't real, either." :D:

You know.. i think I will do that next time.... I think being an SG that does not cause trouble is kinda fun.... As I tell my guests all the time.. their is no such thing as a stupid question... only stupid answers...

For the record: The Skipper Gordon that posts to SGT is a red headed female of amazonian proportions who occasionally answers to "Roosevelt" and "Courtney Paris" neither of which are her real name.

You did get one thing right though...I am the best skipper they've got.
