Stupid Guest Tricks

Nothing like booking an extremely last minute flight/hotel/car.

My Grandmother passed away last night, and today I found myself making arrangements to be out in CA this week. My daughter already asked if we were going to squeeze in a trip to DL. We'll see...

Oh, just for those keeping score.

Thursday, Dad calls and says Grandma won't make it through the weekend.
Friday Jill loses her job.
I get the call at 1:41AM that Grandma died at 11:37PM west coast time.

Yeah, one of those days.

It's nice you're going to Cali,but the circumstances SUCK. :( Have a safe trip.
Say "HI" to MS if you do get to DL.

Forgot to add,if the circumstances were better,and you were driving. Stop in the Old Pueblo and we could tip back a few cold ones.

We tossed around driving, but I think I am the only one who could handle it ;)

However, a future drive out west (making the drive part of the vacation) is in the future plans, so I'll have to make that a stop.

Gosh, ktulu, sounds like you had a really bad day. So sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother, as well as Jill's job.
Do bad things still come in threes? Maybe you should make that quick trip into DL in order to jinx anything else bad from happening.
