walking back from a break behind toontown i see daisy walk in followed by goofy. goofy is hold the door shut with his arm and someone is pushing from the other side. i heard "let..... your manager" i assure them i will deal witht he situation and he lets me pass. i walk out to an upset mother who demanded to speak to goofy's mamnger. so i took them to see the manager at the time. the family was a latino family of 4. a 7 year daughter, a 13 year old daughter, a mother and a father. the mother spoke bad english so the 13 year old spoke and described the situation.

"i was having goofy sign my autograph book when i said 'wait right here and i'll get..' and then he pushed me away."

and he's the best part. she said, "JUST BECUASE WE'RE LATIN DOESN'T MEAN HE HAS TO GO AWAY!"

the lead tried not to laugh when he suggested heading down to city hall to file an official complaint while he spoke to the person responsible for goofy. spanish mubble was exchanged fromt eh mother to the 13 yr old and she responded with, "you have crappy guest service" with the mother nodding her head saying, "yes, bad." WTF?!

i would also like to add that i am half Cuban and half Ecuadorean so these people have no substancial intelligence to even pick up on that little detail.

THEY SHOULD HAVE A LANGUAGE AND IQ TEST BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK.

THEY SHOULD HAVE A LANGUAGE AND IQ TEST BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK
But then what would we do with no guests in the Park?

^ !

I can't count how many times I've heard people go "Oh its because I'm [insert non-white race here], isn't it?" They think the park is out to get them or something, eesh.

lol... I love it when a guest gets into an argument with a CM saying "it's cuz I'm *non-white race*, isn't it?" and the CM they're arguing with is the exact same race as them.

Had a similar situation once. When cashing I always asked for a ID when given a credit card. I had one man of Hindu decent (that's PC right?) order from me and pay with a credit card. I asked for ID and he went nutz!
"How dare you! It's because i'm Indian right?"
"No sir, I always ask for some form of ID it's for your safety and security. Also it's Disney's policy that I check."
"They didn't check me at (insert generic merchandise location here)!"
"Then they were not following policy and should be reprimanded. May I see you ID please?"
He promptly gave me his ID and guess what this guy is a friggin' M.D.! I wonder what type of doctor this guy is? Hopefully not a brain seregon (sp?).

Yeah, my "favorite" is when a guest tries to claim I'm "racist" or tries to insinuate *I* am incompetent because I'm "white"...when in reality, I'm part white, part native american. And I'm often even mistaken for being part hispanic BY hispanics also. Although, *I* think I look only white. I have literally laughed at guests who tried to use some lame racist remark to me, telling them not to judge people before they even KNOW what that person's race actually is!
