Welcome To Stupid Mountain

I've lurked here a lot, I’m a former CP CM at WDW and returning again soon.
I just got back from DL and wanted to share an experience I had with a SG on Space Mountain.
It was my last day and I was planning on Space being my last ride and going to get some dinner and then catch the parade. It was getting kinda busy and I had about a 15 minute wait with Fastpass and standby was about 30 minutes. So I make it and am put in the very front row and I’m getting excited to go on Space one last time. We make it up the first two lift hills and were in "space" when all of a sudden I notice a light going off. Hmmm... I think to myself maybe one of the projectors is malfunctioning. 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2.. hmmm, there is that flash of light again... grrr... 1...
We start the ride and a few seconds later, the track is illuminated and I can see everything. Someone seriously isn’t taking FLASH photos in Space Mt. are they? No, no one can be that stupid.
Another couple seconds it happens again, so I turn around to see if I can see what happens and within a few seconds I see the lit up faces of two laughing teenagers. grrr.... Yes, two really SGs that decide to ruin Space Mt. by taking flash pictures EVERY 10 seconds.
I mean did they NOT know that there is an on-board photo and no need to have a photo shoot during the ride? And Disney will let them take a photo of the screen! I'm usually calm and understand people leave their brains at the turnstiles when they go to the parks, but really, taking Flash pictures on Space Mountain?
I think that’s the only time I’ve ever been compelled to tell another guest that they are being stupid to their face.
