My dad and I hauled my mom along with us to see it. She is definitely -Not- a Trekkie. She loved it! Of course Dad and I loved it. :) I think Chris Pine will make an excellent 2nd husband if things don't work out between Hugh Jackman and me. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

But really, saw it yesterday, loved it. I'll just say that the plot twist is....interesting.

And while, as a fellow Montrealer, I might be comitting a form of heresay by stating this, give me Chris Pine over William Shatner anyday ;) .

Chris Pine was on Leno last week. His dad is Robert Pine, the sergeant on CHiPs. Robert was doing a commercial with William Shatner. He walked up behind Shatner, patted him on the shoulder, and called him son. Shatner was not amused.
