especially at strollers. When we are standing right there at the f*cking ropes, the guests can't push their f*cking strollers 2 feet more and hand us the damn stroller? They have to leave the shit either to the left or right of where we are collecting them and leave them there. Either that, or they leave it across the way where the ECV's are parked or at the gate. HELLO! YOU F*CKING PASSED US TO LEAVE IT AT THE GATE YOU LAZY PIECE OF SHIT. All this because you can't carry your damn child 20 extra feet to the exit gate? You're the ones who concieved the little shit in the first place.

You obviously weren't there the day I found two strollers chained to the fence with a bike lock.
My personal biggest pet peeve is when they leave them in the middle of the path blocking everybody's way and everybody gets mad at us like it's our fault. Or in the middle of parade/Fantasmic/fireworks blowoff when people stop to unload their stroller in the middle of the tunnel and take forever so that nobody can get through, and of course it's our fault. Or when they park the ECVs right in front of the rope so that we can't pull any strollers in or out.
Need I go on....

Relax... that's not as bad as what I got to see today. Some idiot decides to leave their little kid, prolly between 2 & 4 years old, in the stroller while they go watch snow white... they parked the stroller in the stroller parking and just left the kid there. At least the kid was asleep. Sometimes I think people just feel TOO comfortable in Disneyland... just cuz it's Disney doesn't mean there aren't weirdos in the park (I work with them everyday

) I BEGGED my managers to just let us move the kid backstage... too bad they said no, otherwise I'm sure the parents would have thought twice about just leaving their kid again

We were setting up for a parade once, and I was working the Small World area. There was a giant double stroller chained to the railing across from SW, where there is no room for parade viewing. We had to move it out of the parade route. So we picked it up, still chained to the railing, and dumped it in the bushes.
If they're going to lock up their strollers, they should at least find out where they're supposed to be first.

We had a couple do that once at Toontown Station in August on a 95-degree day. Just parked the baby in the sun and got on the train for a 20 minute trip!
When they got back, you know what they asked? "Where's our stroller?" Not, where's our baby, they were worried about the stroller. Once we figured out who they were, we told them the stroller had been taken by the Department of Childrens Services.
Why did they take our stroller?" Um, to carry the baby in maybe?
"But how will we get our stroller back?" Oh don't worry, by the time you're both out of jail, the kid won't need a stroller any more.
"So, we're not getting our stroller back? Can you do that?" Why don't I let this deputy sheriff here explain it to you on the way to the jail.
"Is our stroller at the jail?" ARRGGGUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!
I can understand folks from up north not knowing how quickly a baby could dehydrate in the Florida sun, and I can understand not knowing the train was a 20 minute round trip. I can't understand how they could be more worried about their stroller.

We go one better. When we find personal strollers locked in the wrong place, we don't cut the lock -- we cut the stroller frame and leave the lock behind!
No, it's not
just that we're evil, the stroller frames are softer than the locks and we break fewer cutters that way.

That's great!! BTW I forgot to mention in my last post that those two strollers I found chained to the fence were
our strollers.
Ever thrown a stroller in the trash compactor and turn it on? Great sound. (believe it or not, the guest
asked us to throw it away)

Some of this stuff just makes you wonder. Like the old saying goes you have to pass a written test to drive a car, but not to have children. It's sad to say that I'm not suprised that the parents were more worried about their stroller than their child.
Also there was this one time I had a guest lock his stoller in the queue line before and I kept moving it to the stoller parking area. He got pissed off and moved it back to the queue and locked it to a stantion that wouldn't lift up, so we cut the frame of the stroller and moved it back to the stroller parking area. This guest got even more pissed off, but if he would have just left his stroller in the stoller parking area we wouldn't have had to cut his frame.

I loved the people that locked their strollers to stanchions. Simply lift it, remove it from their lock, and replace it.
Then you can put it where ever you want.
