Confusion at Starbucks

I can't really call this a stupid employee trick, but it was one of those times when the employee's brain wasn't fully in gear, and it cracked me up. I'm at the drive-thru, ordering pricey, good-tasting stuff I really don't need:
Her: Hi, welcome to Starbucks! What can we make for you today?
Me: Let me have a grande Mocha and a chocolate old-fashioned (donut).
Her: Grande Mocha and an old-fashioned. All we have is chocolate, is that okay?
Me, perplexed: ...Yeeeessss... That's what I ordered.... (???)
Her: Okay, that will be $$$ at the window.
I start to pull forward, and before I'm away from the speaker she realizes what she said, and says, "Oh! I, uh..." and then lets out a long, cackling laugh at her own expense. It was pretty funny, and she was a very good sport about it.

Hey! We're not supposed to talk about them, they are sensitive about that.

Reminds me of a long-ago trip to Wendy's...the same one where I regularly ordered a salad and a bacon cheese potato for dinner, requesting bacon strips instead of the bits. One day I placed that order, and the counterperson said, "We can't do that." I asked why and she said, "We don't have bacon strips." I countered with, "Well, what do you put on the bacon cheeseburgers?" While she tried to figure that one out, another person who recognized me as a regular shoved her out of the way and completed my order.

I won't dispute that, but they are sensitive about people talking about them.

Why would you want them quieter? That seems like an argument against drinking RUM which leads me to believe that you are no pirate.

If they want a break, they can just take one. I am not forcing them to keep talking.
