I hate to rain on your parade, but- wait! I love raining on parades! Muahahah!
That was built as a stage for something. Snopes knows all!
Is it pathetic that I acually want to see the inside of that, and connect the trailers? That would be so cool!

That's strangely cool. It looks like a redneck version of the Mesa Verde cliff dwellings..

That would be cool if they showed Kodak this. They could make this into a puzzle. :)

By odd coincidence, this was Snopes' "From the Archive" for today.

Big Fat Hairy Deal! The Contemporary and Polynesian were built that way back in 1971.

Out of shipping containers?
I saw presentation on how cabins were built into a cruise ship. They were prefabed on shore and slid into place once the hull was finished.
Another system I watched was a 25 story building that had each floor built at ground level. Once the floor was complete, it was raised by cables and glued into place.

Those trailers look like I wouldn't want to sneeze while inside. I can imagine what a fair-sized earthquake would do to all that. Trailers are the absolute worst kind of housing. They're firetraps, plus they don't hold up at all in hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, or earthquakes.
