So i was driving Monorail Red on the Express Beam tonight. I pull into the TTC unload my guests. I am just about to close up the unload ( and seeing this is the evening rush we are not loading at TTC ) and all of a sudden i hear the Emergency Intercom Phone ring in the drivers cab... Thinking its Big Wallaby ( who is working the unload position at the Express ) I pick up the phone.. and here is how the conversation goes.....
CM: Pilots compartment of Monorail Red... Thi is your Captain speaking... How may I help you???
SG: I am having trouble... I am trying to get to the Contemporary Hotel, but this train does not stop their.. we have gone threw it twice....
CM: YEs mam... this is the Express, A direct service to the TTC. You need to get onto the Resort Hotel Monorail.. Standby.. Ill open your door and have a Cast Member assist you....
So at this point.. I open the load side and ask a CM to asist the guest and her kids... I close the doors on both sides... put my my train in Ludicrous Speed and start to laugh so hard that i almost wet myself....

You know, those phones are there for something called an "emergency"? Something like a near-death experience, a panic attack, fire...
Apparently being on the same monorail and not realizing that the train does not stop at the destination of choice not once, but twice is considered an emergency.

Maybe the kids needed a bathroom, and that kicked in the emergency?
you would think that passing the hotel ONCE would be enough of a "clue"
hehehehehe

Nah, they just get the kid to go potty at the nearest tree (or in one case, a monorail) when the restroom is about a good 10-20 feet away.

You are too nice. I would have gone around 10 more times.
It was an emergency because she probably was panicking, lol.
Give her credit for at least using the phone. Some SGs would stay on board for a week.
The proper potty procedure for boys is for daddy to hold the kid to the window and let them aim out the open window. Preferably when the monorail is the Contemporary but not when Zazu is walking through the lobby.

Wait, there is a phone that calls the pilot? Why was I not informed!
Now I need to think about some things...

I once had a guest who rode the WDW Railroad for about two hours waiting for it to get to Universal Studios.
"How much longer until this train gets to the Studios?"
"You mean the Disney-MGM Studios?"
"No, Universal Studios."
"A whole lot longer than you'll ever want to wait. Try a cab."

I have been to Universal Studios and that is quite a distance from the MK. I want to say at least 20 minutes. A few years ago my friends an ex went on the bus. I t did take over 1 hour to get there, we had to transfer once.
Now for the monorail, I had no idea it was able to go over a certain speed.
