Mysterious Powder Causes DLR to close Esplanade, Main Entrance and Ticket Booths

According to Board X, DLR closed the entrance from 0900-1000 until nature of Powder found spread out over several ticket booth counters could be determined.
It was found to be fine sand.
This sounds funny at first, but considering that DLR would be a likely target for a terrorist attack, I hope security is being Extra Careful. This could be a practice drill for some group of nuts.

It made the news. It was very fine sand that stuck to windows and cleaning crews had to come in and clean up the mess. Guests who got in before 8:45 had the park to themselves for a whole hour.

I was there! the lines to get past the bag check point were huge! the one on harbor blvd side went all the way out into the street. Unfortuatly the crowd control was lacking and people seeing the big lines, went to to front of the line to be busy body, as the line started to move, people tried sneaking in the line infront of people who had been waiting over an hour in line.! :mad:
At least I got in.

Maybe an SG was hitting themselves in the head with something when their skull cracked open, and what passes for brains in SGs leaked out! :twisted:
