Guest: where are the games?
Me: In the starcade
Guest: No... the other place that has games
Me: umm... there's the penny arcade on main st.
Guest: NO! They had pizza and games and that mouse that walks around
Me taking a lucky stab in the dark: uh... Chuck E Cheese?
Guest: YES! That's it!
Me: *gives them directions to a Chuck E Cheese*
Guest: No... you're lying. There's one here in the park
Me: No m'am... we have pizza at Pizza Port and games in the Starcade and a big mouse named Mickey, but no Chuck E.
Guest: You really shouldn't work here- I was here last week and there was a Chuck E Cheese in the park
From there it continues in the typical conversation pattern you often have with know it all guests until she ended up stomping away.
Then I had another guest, a little girl, come and ask where the bathrooms were... but when I started to answer she ran off to her mom... so I go back to doing what I was doing until the mom came up to me and starts yelling at me for not giving her daughter good directions (well m'am, if you'd teach your brat to listen to what I was saying, I think my directions would have been perfectly fine... they seem to work for everyone else I give them too). So I gave her directions. These same guests come back again two more times saying they can't find it, so I repeat my directions. Then I see them coming back and they spot me before I can hide "we still can't find it"... So I just grabbed a pro towel and drew them a map.

Yeah, that seems to be quite common. Not only with the kids, but the ADULTS TOO! I've had them come up to me, ask me in SLOW BROKEN English (ok, fine I can understand a language barrier) "ohhh. .. where is. ..da. . .bat-room?" right when I start pointing the general direction, look them in the eye, and start directing them, they're already making a beeline in the general direction I'm directing. "Here? Here? Dis right way?" Ignorant guests.

Today I was at greeter and I had a guest come up to me and ask me: Is this ride scary? Now since I don't know the guest, or what scares them for that matter I usually reply with a question of my own: What scares you? It seems perfectly fine to most guests, and they tell me what they are afarid of and then I tell them what the ride has. But this one guest today then goes on and asks me: Is there anybody here that is willing to help
us out, since
you are unable to? I then went on to ask them what is it that you need help with. They continued on with the whole is it scary line. My last word with them was, well since I don't know what scares you and I'm not psychic, and you won't tell me what scares you I don't think anybody that works here can answer that question. I just wanted to do this to them

^ Don't you love those guests that think you have psychic abilities? They think you can guess down to the exact minute an attraction will re-open from a breakdown.
The whole Chuck E. Cheese thing just sounds hilarious to me. To get it confused with the Pizza Port/Starcade/Mickey is great

.
I think they need to just put an FAQ on the back of each map. Should cover mostly the general questions a stupid guest would ask.

hmm... FAQ on the back of the map would be a good idea... oh wait, the guests won't read it anyway, nevermind....
I had a guest who was with her son, who I was guessing was somewhere around 10 years old... they asked me if the snow white play was scary, and I said no. Well, later in the day that same guest saw me again and started yelling at me cuz the play scared her son...

omg - I worked on Mansion for over 5 years and NEVER experienced anything like that! What front row...jeeze. Ummm...there weren't any seeing eye dogs or white canes with red tips in the vicinity?
There used to be this lead in the area who used to love to demonstrate how to behave with tour groups for the rookies on Mansion. You'd see the line coming in about 10:30 or so, and at load one, he'd simply jump up on the wide moulding that sort of sticks out from that little short wall and then he'd just get out of the way and let them do whatever they wanted to do...it was his way of keeping from going crazy. Rather like watching a bunch of ants scatter on the belt :?

I was working the pin cart yesterday and after I came back from lunch, the breaker told me to watch these 2 retarded guests sitting in on the bench. They had been sitting there for over an hour waiting for their chaperone and they don't know where the chaperone is. He told me he called security and they were not interested in coming out (WTF is up with that?). After awhile, a guest comes up to me and asks me if the chaperone ever showed up because she was sitting there the whole time too and saw them just sitting there (it was parade time). Apparently she talked to my breaker and was the one who told the breaker to call security. Right at that time the chaperones came and I motioned to the guest "oh there they are". She talked to the chaperones and they told the guest "We were with them the whole time. They wanted to be left alone so we did that."(The retarded guest I assume were husband and wife or bf/gf). Not the whole time I came back from my lunch and before they picked the retarded guests up did I see the chaperones ANYWHERE in the area.
A few hours later, the chaperones came up to the pin cart to buy pins WITHOUT THE PEOPLE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHAPERONE. I'm thinking WTF..what a bunch of lousy chaperones.
Some people are a waste of life.

Yesterday I was working at Star Tours and I cannot believe the stupidty of one guest I had. I was loading my cabin and I had a few adults, one guest was in a wheelchair, needed a five point restraint, and couldn't transfer out of her chair. So we loaded that party last so that we could get the chair over to her easily. Well one Einstien in their party decided, while I was still loading, to go over to the console and push the E-Stop. He then as we were restaging the guests decided to ask me if that console controlled the ride. After I said yes, he admitted that he pushed a few buttons on it. I was about to give the guest the riot act, but decided to call a manager and security insted. The manager gave the idiot a nsa because of the inconvience of having to wait for a new cabin. And security never showed up. People that go around and push buttons like that should be escorted out of the park and not given a refund. But do you honestly think Disney would do anything like that because a guest hit the E-Stop on an attraction.

And yet I know CMs that have gotten reprimands for doing an E-Stop
