Jeff was diagnosed at a very young age as having Kawasaki Disease. In the past 4 decades that this disease has been identified doctors still have not even begun to be solved how kids get the disease.

This is a horrible tragedy. :(
There is much rumor that Jett also had Autism and many with autism also suffer from seizures.
One of my son's classmates was also developing typically until he was stricken with Kawasaki Syndrome, so it seems there could be a link.

So often the news of a celebrity or their family dying at a young age comes, and it is the person's own fault. In a situation like that I have a hard time feeling bad, just hope they become a lesson. But in cases like this, or like Heath Ledger, how can you not?

While I hate to capitalize on something like this, maybe he'll become the poster child and funds and awareness will be made. I'd never heard of the syndrome before today.

Well the Travolta family shouldn't be too upset, if they really believe their own "Religion." Jett's Immortal Thetan will move on to the next body and live it's life.

By the way this is the first I ever heard of Kawasaki Disease. At first I thought it had something to do with kids and motorcycles.

I hope that they can find some comfort, as I'm sure that it was very difficult to start just having a disabled child, and their religion isn't tolerant of "imperfection" from what I've heard. I do hope they will be able to help others (and themselves) by opening up and discussing the problem, but that is somewhere they may not choose to go.
