Today is the first day of the new What Will You Celebrate? campaign at the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort, and while I'm sure this isn't due to be a common thing, I already have an SGT related to it to share.
I was at Greeter today when a guest wearing one of the new celebration buttons comes up and blatantly demands that he be backdoored onto the Attraction. I politiely inform him that he has to wait in the queue like everyone else.
He then starts to ramble about how it's his birthday and Disney let him in for free and now we refuse to celebrate his special occassion.
He ended up stumbling off - I honestly don't think he was completely recovered from New Year's Eve, lol.

Wow, was it his first birthday? Because it sure sounds like he was acting like a baby!
Sheesh, whenever Disney tries to give guests a perk, some guests will always get selfish and try to milk it.

This should be retitled and it will be one of the longest threads in SGT history. All them people coming to get their free day in a park and complaining about prices. OMG I drove from Cleveland and am sleeping in my van because it costs so much and the soda is so expensive ....... Another publicity stunt in the manner of Les Nessman. I can hear the splatting turkeys already.

It was Arthur Carlsen and his little buddy Herb Tarlek.

Show me on the ticket where it says that you must me back doored on every attraction on your Birthday. I would love to see THAT!! :D Eventhough it's your Birftday, it doesn't say that you can do whatever you want.

For AP's you can get a Fastpass instead of an admission ticket, but you certainly don't get both

Yep and the CMs who have to deal with the run off from this latest Disney promotion are like poor Les Nessman who had to watch the carnage.

I'm not surprised.
Because of guys like yours mentioned, I am wondering just how many people demand special attention and magical moments. I have heard from attendants of people demanding the Pixie Dust pins just cause they are "free". Or get very upset because they didn't get one of the "Million Dreams" because it's advertised. Typical of antics I learned that Board X'ers do.
I love how Disney pulls out the stops once in a while to make magic, but geez - when the word gets out, people will start to expect it and pissed off if they didn't get the same treatment the previous guest got.
