Stupid Guest Tricks

Hi there guys and girls!

I just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Patrick and I am a huge Disney fan. My first trip was when I was 25 as my parents didn't have the money to go on a big family trip when I was a kid, but I think that makes me love it even more.

The Disney parks are the only place where I truly feel like "King of the Day" - everyday I am at a park. Don't get me wrong - from reading some posts on here, I don't feel that I have ever come across as a Stupid Guest - but every person that I met from Resort Check-In, to Ticketing, to City Hall, and all of the ride operators have made me feel like I was the most important person AT THAT MOMENT. I am sure that it helps that I treat people with respect and don't whine, bitch, and yell at people!

To any of you who I have ever met, and to those who I will on my upcoming trip - YOU ROCK!!!!! And during my trip this time I will certainly be praising the extra effort that you put in to your superiors, especially since you don't generally see the work and discipline at other parks outside of Disney.

So thanks again, and I look forward to talking with some of you more in the future.

Well, welcome to the SGT. I think a lot of us here think along the same lines as you. Most posters here really enjoy out time at the parks, and appreciate the hard work that the CM's do to make our time feel special.

That being said, we also like to laugh at the strange things Stupid guest (and sometimes CM's) throw into the mix.

Welcome! You're among kindred souls here. I'm not a CM but I have an unending supply of admiration and respect for them. I'd last maybe an hour on an average summer day without decking someone, yet they do their jobs every day with a smile and make magic for the rest of us.

I'm another non-cast member, but shooting for the WDWCP January of 2010!

I've been to WDW 18 times (I know get a life, right? :D: ) and still continue to be impressed with their show and continuous strive to make a guest's experience as magical as possible.

Since this is a topic about new SGT.com'ers, I'll intorduce myself.

Hi, I'm Josh (Malpass93). I live in England, Lincolnshire to be exact. I go to WDW every year and Disneyland Paris often too. I have great respect for the majority of CMs, as they do a sterling job (one I wouldn't mind doing), and put up with some real imbeciles. I may be young, but love hearing/reading about the history of the Disney Parks. As long as there's WDW, there'll always be SG's, and their SGT's.
