It will power the voice services for about 4 hours, reports of up to 5 hours have been seen. I haven't tested to see if the data port stays up.

The current documentation says 8 hours -- 7 immediately, with one hour held in emergency reserve (you can activate it with a button press on the backup unit).

To show how out of the loop I've been on this, when hobie first asked if it came with UPS, I thought, "That's an odd question. Why would anything need to be delivered?" :o:

Are you on multimode or single mode fiber? Do the active electronics use LED or laser for the light source?
