Yup. Anybody who understands that is okay by me!
I just wish I were still in the Park so I could find more SGTs to write about. I'm not saying there isn't any stupid in the hotels, but having told one story about a family who arrived on Dec. 23 and wanted a table for 10 at Le Cellier on Christmas Eve....

I realize that you CM's work long hours for not enough, and are probably too exhausted at the end of the day to even groan something about the stupidity you encountered, but I joined because I thought it was a very fun crowd and by comparison, the other Disney Boards I find booooooorrrrrring.
I would love more SG material from CM's, there are quite a few here who crack me up! BTW, I did ask someone at the nearest theme park if they hire RNs, they said no, only EMT's, so I tried.

Besides, I've found out that us SG's on the board have kept a few of the CM's entertained OFF the board as well, so maybe our pathetic lives have served some purpose :p:

Sorry about that. I'm back. To stay, I am sure. Well, except between January 11 and 25, but maybe Hobie will let me use his computer to say hi. Or I can relay messages through him.

THIS CM is still here, I just don't have time to post much anymore. I still work in the same spot, doing the same thing I have been doing since I joined here, still dealing with stupid guests on a daily basis.
I had a couple winners in the last few days. Like the "IT Professional" who took 20 minutes out of my life the other day because he couldn't figure out how to register his kids on the birthday site--because he somehow missed the LARGE PRINT that asked him if he'd like to join the Birthday Club..
Or the "mom" that wanted us to ok a courtesy pass for her daughter, who had already had a courtesy pass(on Nov 21, yet!), because her SON had the pass, and he was in EUROPE-- hello, why did the son have the pass to begin with, when the daughter was almost 18, and could probably be responsible enough to hold on to her own pass?? And in the pass file was the comment that she had given her pass to someone else to use before, and the pass was voided once already!! Guest hung up on another cast member (who was actually sitting next to me, and had asked me if I would ok a courtesy for her, and I told her NO after reading the file!), yet called back, and when I got the call this time, I pulled up the account and told the guest that they are only allowed ONE courtesy visit a year, and if the daughter wanted to get in the park, she'd have to pay for a replacement pass--and had the guest actually ask me if I'd transfer her back to the ORIGINAL cast member, because she thought the first cast member was going to grant the courtesy.. only to be put on the phone with a lead, who told her that no way in hell could she get another courtesy pass, and would have to pay the $20 fee.
I ended up putting the whole story in the notes section of her pass history, just so whoever gets her next will know what she's trying to pull.. UGH!!!!!
I know Disney bends over backwards a lot, and as a CM, I do LOVE to make magic, but come on, at least come up with a good story that COULD be plausable..
Or how about the family of 10, who after purchasing 3 day park hoppers from AAA Travel, somehow lost all 10 tickets between their hotel and the park and wanted me to replace them--with NO receipt, no credit card statement, only their word that they had lost their 10 3 day park hoppers??? Oh, and they wanted to make sure that we would give them their free parking, their magic morning entrance AND don't forget about Mickey's Toontown entry, too!! Hello, you can't even prove to me that you had purchased them to begin with, and you want me to replace WHAT??? Go complain to AAA, and see if they will give you your money back, or dispute the charge on your credit card. I can't give you $2000 worth of tickets on your word that they are missing... Do I look that stupid??
