That's more like what a dog would do. Trust me, it's rare for a cat to be a stinky butt, or empty their anal sacs on the carpet. Dogs are the culprits in doing this. And believe me, dogs are stinkybutts way more than cats. If a cat or dog keeps doing the stinky scoot, it's time to get them used to your manually expressing the glands--I've done it, and it could make you puke, but it's gotta be done with some pets. Normally, they do it themselves when they poop, but once in a while, they could use some help. Ever see that commercial for a carpet cleaning service? "Hey Mom, check out Toby's new trick!" "TOOOBBBYYY!!!!"
