Since some of us might not be able to be on SGT tomorrow I thought I would say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
I am thankful for what health I have, a car that still runs, freedom, my mom, cheeseburgers, friends, a new president, the house partly painted, a working heater, and a roof over my head.
Hugs to my few dearest friends and chocolates to all.
I have dibs on the turkey leg and smashed potatos.

Yay for turkey!
I am working on Thursday but my kiddos are coming over on Friday.
Mmm, I can't wait to start making deviled eggs and bacon wrapped breadsticks for munchies until the turkey's done.
YUM!
Best wishes to all on this day.

We're having friends from the Mainland over for dinner. We're expecting six but there may be locals that show up too.

We are headed over to my parents. My sisters and their families will be there too. My nieces have been over at my parents and the poor kitten is getting a work out. :)

Happy Thanksgiving. I'll be working during the day tomorrow, and spending the evening with my husband.

If I make it in time it will be turkey dinner for her and steak for me.
If not I cook and it is mystery meat and risotto and veggies or beans or boiled taters or creamed corn. I improvise a lot.
The buildabear turkey is all mine and I will start with the leg, chomp chomp.
Happy thanksgiving again to all.
Psst, Purpura since you can pig out on stuffing that means the taters are MINE ALL MINE and I want them to be regular taters.

After traveling for 5 hours on the road to the parental units' home yesterday(usually only takes 2) we were treated to a flash flood and power outtage!
Went out for turkey today with parents.....Passed by many of the recently burnt down homes on the way, have got to count our blessings :(
Hope everyone out there is safe and warm and had a nice turkey day :)

I got off work and had the following with my in laws, hubby and his grandmother and our daughter. I had ham, green beans, fruit salad, scalloped potatoes, and banana pudding last night for dinner nom nom nom My in laws decided to wait for Thanksgiving dinner until I was off!
Ok Churchy you can have your plain taters :) You really want to eat a buildabear turkey? That'd be full of cotton stuffing, not real meat :p:
My daughter said after dinner we would go around the table and tell what we were thankful for. and we did. She said mostly she was thankful for family and love and for me.
Also at 10 AM Yesterday there was a parade for "Pumpkin" the turkey on Main Street USA. He sat on the float staring at everything according to one of my fellow cast members, a cashier at Plaza Inn. Pumpkin is a large bird with white feathers.
