Yma Sumac Won't Be Down For Breakfast

When I was a kid, my parents somewhere along the line got a set of her records. Dad got them in the divorce settlement.

I remember hearing the records when I was a kid--not often, we played them when we had company, and we didn't get alot of company when I was growing up. But her voice was simply amazing. I don't know if her work has been converted to CDs or not, but it's worth a check.
There's a totally false rumor that her real name is Amy Camus and she grew up in New Jersey. There are those who argue that she's not really the descendant of the last Incan emperor; I say, read her site and judge.
