Bus Driver Held At Gunpoint, Forced To Drive To Downtown Disney
Saturday, October 25, 2008
LAKE BUENA VISTA -- Orange County deputies are looking for a man they said pulled a gun on bus driver and told her to take him to Downtown Disney.
Investigators said the woman was driving a Mears bus on State Road 417 near John Young Parkway, and did not see when the man got on, but said he came out of the restroom with a gun.
The driver took the man to Downtown Disney and called 911.
Investigators said they are looking for a black man with a mustache in his late 20s, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds, wearing black jeans, a black sweatshirt, a black baseball cap.
What on Gods green earth would make someone demand at gun point none the less to goto DTD¿?¿?

I saw the B.O.L.O. (Be On the Look Out) on this (not sure why it was posted in my area but it was). According to it the driver only saw the gun (the guy didn't pull it) and wasn't forced to go anywhere, DTD was the bus's destination. The suspect was upset and heard complaining that "Disney ruined his vacation".
I'm thinking he was thinking of maybe "getting revenge" on Disney at DTD. A man with a gun and a vendetta can cause a lot of trouble and harm at DTD.

Hugs Shorty. Probably it was posted because they did not know where he was headed. Scary to think what a beligerent person with a gun could do. If it was me I would take out the ugly coffee cups, lol.
It is an ugly thought to think what could happen if there was a columbine type of shooting. I however for the most part have felt safe in the parks. Idiots there have been but still I feel secure in the parks.

true, but the article says he held her at gunpoint, and you are saying the bolo said she just saw one, presumably in his waistband or other location on his person.
(??) did he carve a "D" in her cheek for Disney?
and the bus WAS on the way to DTD? so it wasn't "hijacked"
and the guest was upset with Disney?
I think some of the story is missing.

no...I mean some of it is not all there.
I get suspicious when one story hits the news, and it is materially different than "offical" (BOLO info) of the incident.
Did someone call the news before they called security/police? (and some of the facts change?)
It just seems to be lacking.

The BOLO was released a few hours after the incident. It could be the person who made up the BOLO didn't have all the info, security wasn't fully sure what happened, things got exaggerated to the news and/or security, or a number of other things.
I'm hoping some more information will be released to the news so we can find out more on what happened but I wouldn't be surprised if nothing else is said about it either.
