Disney guide book

Sorry about posting something different here - I hope it's allowed. If not, please let me know. We need advice on how to reach cast members. We publish a guide book and we need a couple cast members to fact check the next edition for us.

It's a project that can be done as a side job from home and it only lasts about a month. We pay one lump sum amount, and if all goes well, it can lead to other research or writing projects down the road.

Is there some other forum, website or publication we can announce this also? I haven't been able to find any other cast member sites or anywhere to reach cast members. If you know of any I'd sure appreciate if you could help me find it.

If you are interested in this project for yourself, please private message me. We're really looking for people who know just about everything and anything at Disney World, and if they don't know something, they know how to find out. You must be really detail oriented.

Thanks all!

It is, but I already do exactly that job for the PassPorter Guidebook series.

But then again, I can be bought. How much are they offering?

That's the one book I drag to WDW every year and it's been a huge help. I do read the Unofficial Guide too, I like the humor. Are you still up for a tour in Dec., Zazu? If you can't because of the timing (Christmas week) I totally understand and please don't worry about it.

Thanks, that's nice to hear. I get a kick every time I see someone toting a blue book or lanyard around the park.

I like their humor too, but the informed me in a rather huffy tone that they aren't kidding about their "Dumbo or Die in a Day" touring plans. Dunno, seems pretty silly to me.

I'm willing, but you gotta know the crowds are going to be killer then. Also, my Maingate is blocked out December 24 thru 31, so you'd have to buy me a ticket. Doesn't seem like a particularly good idea to go that week.

Still, we could meet for a meal somewhere outside the Parks and I could tell some stories. Best offer I've got right now -- my tours of the other three parks aren't far enough along for me to offer yet.

Er....don't Cast IDs get you in, just by yourself?

If I wasn't suposed to mention this, I humbly apologize and beg forgiveness. Please don't run after me and peck my head, oh big red-biled hornbill one. (:p :)

I have not used that book yet. We use the Birnbaum's WDW book. What is the difference between the book you guys are talking about compaired to the ones you can buy in bookstores? Let me know. I might go and buy one before my next trip out there. :)

Count me in, but don't expect me to work too quickly... I will definitely do reading and commenting during breaks and stuff, but my time not working is taken now.

Nope, WDW Cast IDs are blocked out of all four parks for varying times between Christmas and New Years.

Not a real problem for me; I've worked MK that week and would *really* rather not be there then.

No problem. All questions are welcome here. Of course, so are all stupid replies....
