Stupid Guest Tricks

There this freak couple who goes to every Epcot concert (Flower Power, Sounds Like Summer, Eat to the Beat), and at every concert they pull this slick move where they talk to strangers waiting at the very front of the queue line and then work their way into the front of the line under the pretence that they know the people they were just talking to. They do this to get front row seating for every show.

They are a tall couple: the guy is probably in his 50's with one of those overdone alligator tans, a bad grey, black, and highlighted Beatles mop-top combover, bad posture, and he usually carries a back pack. His girlfriend is a tall blonde that looks much younger than he does, she usually dresses in age-inappropriate miniskirts and acts like stoned hippie during the concerts screaming and flailing around. They are friends with the big fat bearded Disney subcontractor photographer and are usually sitting near him. (He's another story. Fat jackass is always in the way.)

We have watched them do this same scam for years at every concert and have even made many compliants to Disney cast members on site and even to the manager of World Showcase Events -who said that they are aware of them from other compliants they have recieved.

Not only do they pull this line cutting scam that I described above, but once the concerts start they are always right up in the front rows directly in everybody's field of vision for each show carrying on like mental patients flailing around, screaming, and basically making a spectacle of themselves trying to get the attention of each artist that performs there. They behave like they are at some large stadium concert. The mop top weirdo with the backpack actually tries to give his homemade CD's to the performers after the concerts. It seems they are always trying to be the center of attention at each show.

If you spot them, watch the move they pull to get to the front of the line before each show and check out the totally bizarro behavior during the concerts.

It would be nice if cast members took some action against them and booted them out of the park. It's really not fair when other people have been waiting in line for hours to see certain bands then these two freaks walk right up and get into the front of the line. :mad:

No, instead we can celebrate the fact that in a matter of ten short years Kissimmee has turned from a once peaceful "cow-town" into an urban ghetto full of crime, violence, drugs, and gangs.

... and Orlando is now one of the most dangerous places in America.

Really? I went to most of the Bjorn Again concerts during Sounds like Summer, and I didn't see anyone like that there.

I would hope not, and I don't think (and I hope) the mods would not allow it down to that level.

This board welcomes bigots as we sometimes run out of bottles and beer cans to shoot. This board focusses on issues not people.

I wonder why they are being allowed to do that where as if I did that I would be banned from all Disney parks from Tokyo to Paris. If anyone like DisneyMom did that then she too would be drug out of the parks. So why are they known as scammers and line cutters yet repeatedly getting away with their ploy. They stand out so it is not hard to identify them. Their hair and clothing give them away. I hope to hear from someone here who can explain how this type of behavior is allowed.

It's allowed because no one has the courage to confront them. The people who could do something about this situation are weak and timid and prefer to look the other way. On the other hand, Churchy, you were alone, vulnerable and non-intimidating so they were not afraid to confront you.

Line cutting is something even I won't do! ;)

Hmmm, well since the work schedule varies, according to the CM's that post here, possibly these people are see, but by different CM's, when they pull their act.

And after all, CM's ARE told to help the guest. so to blame a CM is probably a little off the mark. they may be totally unaware that it happens. If it is such a problem, just hand out numbered tickets to concerts, and collect them when the guest are entering.

And don't worry about labels that anyone puts on you on this board. Some people cannot understand that others may have a different outlook on life and will label them with nasty names, simply because they disagree with them. (I guess that's what we would call an "SG", someone that ignores facts and/or information to the contrary, among other reasons)

They are always at the very front of the line and usually sit in the first couple of rows down by the stage.

I was told personally by Disney's Manager of World Showcase Events (Martha White) that they (her and other cast members who work the concerts) are aware of these two and a few other "locals" who cause disruptions and cut the line at the concerts. She said they would keep a closer eye on them, but apparently that isn't really happening bacause they still cut the line at every show and still make a spectacle of themselves at every show.

I have personally pointed their actions out to cast members and managers on duty and no one has ever taken any action against them.

What they do is just wrong. As I stated above; we see people who camp out for hours online waiting to get good seats for their favorite artists only to have these two cretins walk right up and cut into the very front of the line.

Tourists have no idea what they are doing so nobody says anything, and even dopey cast members who are standing right there do nothing.

Personally I think they should have their annual passes revoked for this type of behavior.
