I saw a comic on the web a while back where this father takes his son to a Disney park and the boy says he wants to meet Tinker Bell and the father says "Okay son" but thinks "Fag." Now, I know this was only a joke and the guy who made the comic didn't actually think this but it made me wonder, has anyone here every seen parents get an awkward look when their boys want to meet a princess or Tinker Bell or such? I know parents *especially fathers* get real stupid about making sure boys have "boy stuff" and girls have "girl stuff." I recall working at Toys R Us in 2002 or so and recommending this action figure line "Masters of the Universe" to a father but all they had was the female character "Teela" and though the father never actually said it, I could see he was dead set on NOT getting his son a female character so that and the comic made me wonder if anyone here has seen anything similar at Disney World. My immediate thought on any boy who wants to see Tinker Bell is "Hey, the kid wants to meet a cute blond in a mini-skirt. I see nothing gay about this."

My son with autism (20) LOVES the princesses, because he thinks they are so beautiful!
My other son (19) is shy so we MAKE him take a picture with them when a Princess wanders by.......
Mwahahaha!

I just got back from WDW with my family. My brothers (7 and 10) really didn't care who they met. They just loved meeting any characters. My 4-year-old sister, on the other hand, was ALL about the princesses. :D:

When I was a little boy my dad never saw anything wrong with me being into TinkerBell and Disney Princesses. I used to watch Sleeping Beauty over and over again as a little boy. I also was really happy when Snow White and Cinderella came to the Cinema. I remember the days before Ariel when it was 3 Disney Princesses (Snow White,Cinderella and Aurora). My family purchased a vhs copy of Disney's the little Mermaid when came to home video. My whole family likes Princess movies and Disney.

I just ordered 2 TinkerBell shirts. One is a T-shirt and one is a Hoody. I will enjoy wearing my TinkerBell shirts in DisneyWorld and other places. It's all a part of the Magic :)

Sounds like he's got good taste in women ;)
You gotta love Disney. Where else can you meet a woman in nothing but seashells and still call it a family vacation? XD

If it was a grass skirt and two half coconuts it would be Hawaii.

On a similar note, who else could turn pirate wenches into something family friendly?

You know why Ariel wears seashells?

Because beeshells are too small and deeshells are too big.
