Wall-E Toy Robot offer from Rayovac

Post by dazyhill » Tue Sep 30, 2008 11:20 pm

This summer, as a tie-in to Wall-E, Rayovac Batteries offered a Wall-E action figure for $2 plus UPC codes from two packs of batteries. I sent away for it and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited.
Today, I received a letter from Rayovac saying that they were unable to fulfill my order. As compensation, they gave me a check for $2,two $1 off coupons, and a sheet of Wall-E stickers with Rayovac prominently displayed.
Bad news, I didn't get a Wall-E. :( Good news, the sticker sheet may have some value as a premium years from now.
Did anyone else have a problem getting their Wall-E figure?

Fortunately I'm with a bank that hasn't failed...yet.
Ugh. I only go to Wal Mart when Target doesn't have what I want or it's late and my local Wal Mart is closer than the Target. Every time I go into Wal Mart I mutter what Jeff Dunham's Walter puppet once said "'Welcome to Wal-Mart! Get your sh** and get out!'"

I went to Kaybee toys and got a cute Wall-E action figure for 7 bucks.
How much do you think I can get for it on eBay around Christmas?
