Did anyone see that article in the L.A. Times today about this little girl who was bitten by a dog at DLR, a couple of years ago? The dog, named Hemmingway, had been adopted by a CM and brought to the petting zoo at Big Thunder, and while the girl and her siblings were petting him, the dog lunged and bit her several times.
The dog was adopted from the Orange County Animal Shelter, which said the dog had a history of aggression and was "not very social". I gotta ask, who was to blame the most here? The CM, who brought in a dog that was known to have issues, or the shelter, who should have destroyed him if his aggression wasn't amenable to behavior modification? The article doesn't say what happened to the dog later, though I presume it was finally euthanized.

I'm not sure why Disneyland would let in a CM's dog unless it was a therapy dog (and apparently this one was not). In one forum it said that the child ended up on the dog's back, and then was bitten, and for some reason the family kept playing with the dog.

The article on the dog biting the little girl said they had been petting it for several minutes, and when they said goodbye and started walking away the dog attacked.

As to the other item--that condition is pretty rare with men who've been circumcised. There are those, however, who disagree.

It should've been put down without being adopted out. Somebody at that shelter goofed big time.
