Stupid Guest Tricks

I'm beginning to worry that I might get classed with the likes of the Towel Baby Lady or Linda Skywalker. The other day, DH and I were riding Test Track and one of the CMs said, "You really like this ride, huh? Do you keep track of the number of times you ride it?" I thought he just meant that day, but he said, "No, I've seen you here quite a few other times." That's accurate because when I do a morning Soarin' mini-marathon I kill the time between FPs in the singles line at TT. I'm probably memorable because I almost always wear my monorail hat.

Then at Soarin' today the CMs noticed my obsessive returning...between standby and FPs, Mr. Syndrome and I managed to get in 13 rides. I have to get in a good fix before the busy season starts again because when that happens I won't go near it, other than a couple of FP rides in the morning.

It felt weird to have them recognizing me though (although I can't give up my beloved hat). I just promise I won't start carrying a towel baby or name myself Barb Warburton.

Oh no! Trust me, I don't think you could get yourself into the same category as Linda Skywalker!

It might not be too bad to be "The Soarin' Monorail Hat Lady" at WDW ;)
I'm sure some CMs at DLR recognize me and Hubby by now as one of those "Crazy Pin Trading People"

Now if the CMs come here and complain about us, that would be bad.

Well, Syndrome, you have to realize that there are regulars we like too. I can think of a few over here at Disneyland, some of them we know by name. So, I am sure that if you are getting recognized you won't be classified as one of the scary regulars.

That's funny - the folks at TT know me, too, LOL! I think they recognize the scooter, but they know I'm from Tampa and once when it was just me and the girls they asked where DH was.

Hmmm.... wonder if I'm starting to be "one of them," too? Nah, probably not - just my fixation with TT, I think.

GrUvGrl and I are working on a plan for 2013 (yup 5 years from now) in which we may become "one of them" (is that a bad thing?!?!)

It involves a lot of savings, and probably an acto f congress.. ... and will prolly be a really bad ideatm but hey.. its fun making the plans even if it doesn't happen!

I only have ridden the bobleds at DLR about 300 times and you are not crazy unless your whole trip is about that one thing. Do you skip lunch just to get on a certain ride or see a show, then you are nuts. I see nothing wrong with riding a ride 5 to 10 times while the place is not busy,

Well I know the fine people over at the Rose and Crown are starting to reach a "Hey! It's you! *Guys! Welsh Dragon for Jones, now!*"
