Wearing IDs on stage and off the clock

Company ID is mandatory on working non costumed cast both back and on stage.

I looked it up again, and this is what is in the documentation off of the website:
"Non-costumed Cast: Cast Members who are not wearing a costume are required to visibly wear their Walt Disney Company photo ID card in backstage areas at all times. Non-costumed Cast Members are not required to wear their Company ID while onstage but may choose to do so for convenience."
Is it just standard practice to wear ID on stage?

It sounds like the rules for WDI and related departments are different than the rules for most cast. What I remember reading in the Disney Look says that non-costumed cast must have their ID visible at all times.

You must be interning with WDI. The people who think it is cool to walk about in torn jeans, 5 o clock shadow and name tags on their lanyards.

The guidelines listed are for CAST MEMBERS...not, well, Imagineers.

I will say that at MK, even WDI adheres to Cast Member policy. Well, if they don't, Phil sees to it that they are not permitted to work in MK area.

And again, please stop quoting Company information on here. Infringement is infringement.

I believe MAPO is referring to infringing on company policy, I don't think she's referring to copyright infringement (although I thought fair use applied to utilizing copyrighted works for things like the news such as the new showing the Disney logo while doing a story on the park).
